AS THE WGA and the AMPTP return to the bargaining table for the first time since the strike began a news blackout is in effect. But that doesn't stop writers film industry workers actors directors and fans from around the world showing their support for the concept of fair compensation in the digital age. Here are rallies taking place around the world this Wednesday. November 28th. All times listed are local times. LONDON. UKThe Writers' Guild of Great Britain invites you all to congregate outside the Trades Union Congress HQ in Great Russell Street in central London. There will be signs and material there. TORONTO. ONTARIO. CANADAThe Writers Guild of Canada is asking people to meet outside the Sony Centre (formerly the Hummingbird Centre and before that the O'Keefe Centre) on Front Street just East of Yonge at 10 am. (Rally is 10 to 12 noon.) There will be signs. Wear red if you can. The location is close to two subway stops -- from King Station walk south. Or from Union walk East. Either way it's about 1-2 blocks. Writers. Friends. Actors. Directors. Crew. Moms. Fans -- all are Welcome! MONTREAL. QUEBEC. A call for help: Do you know a bit of HTML and are you willing to create an Invite to "Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ50" Icon / Link plus a "I undergo seen this picture in the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ50 assort"?Could be like this one. or this one Our group icon is 48 X 48 pixels in size - might be a good coat. In th ebeginning of this group a member sent me the file. I am sorry but I am unable to find this register :-(( . Is anybody out there who has or is willing to build a 48 x 48 pixel icon either similar to our group icon (Corp. Identidy) or in another way showing the FZ50?Just post in this go if yes and mail it to amit_gupta who is willing to do the HTML coding (Thank you very much for your back up!!). I evaluate we should keep in mind that a lot of people don't like icons cluttering up comments some going so far as to remove comments that include icons. I've done it myself on occasion. If you're going to create these icons it would be a good idea to also make a text-based alternative. @levistone: convey you so much for your effort to buil a logo! come up done. It would work for us. Good news for Run DMC fanatics. The rap group is launching a new Website for fans. assort members. DJ Run. D. M. C. and Jam Master Jay have teamed with celebrity services company Paid. Inc to open and are about to have the site launched within the next month. The new Run DMC place reportedly will feature up-to-the minute news on the group's current projects an interactive forum and a multi-media area where fans can access music photos and videos both old and new. "Having worked with DMC for several years. Paid celebrity services is excited to expand its role and back up Run-DMC in supporting its brand online in new and creative ways in keeping with the group's reputation for setting new standards," Paid.
