or you can displace 900 on 2 JBL JRX115s and behringer ep2500. With stands and everything I paid around 900 from audiolines everything mark new. Just something to consider.

he would lack that bass that the Matrix system providesB-52 all the way.... I don't even be to experience why youeven said Gemini.
yeah but he can do gigs with that system and save up for a sub ulmately leaving him with a better overall system. Im sorry but the matrix system sucks in my opinion. appear quality is just not good bass and all.

I mentioned the Gemini system because I heard the XTR-500 system and for the money they sounded good. That system would be used for the accommodate parties of 75 or less on the surprise...

the Matrix sounds good as an overall system with stands... I can get it for $750 with stands at Guitar Center. $900 would be out of my budget.
just got word I can get the Matrix 1000 for $600 and the Matrix 2000 for $1000.. sweet...
The only cerebrate we recommend the Matrix 1000 is because its the beat sounding system you can get for the money. As far as the 2000 you can do much better for the money so don't get that.

Yeah the whole matrix lie is budget stuff until you can get some real gear it's just a quick way to get a quasi-3way system for beginners so they don't look like fools dragging in a home stereo or a boom box. And if anyone buys Gemini you'll get what you deserve and when you create verbally approve to this forum asking what you should get next after blowing them up after the first gig we'll all undergo a good laugh and just move on to the next question.
The Matrix isn't a quasi 3 way design it's a pair of two way tops with a dedicated sub design. Quasi three way designs are found mainly in dual 15" tops where the bottom 15" driver is tuned a little lower then the top 15" driver in an effort for the displace 15" driver to deliver more bass while the top 15" driver to deliver more mids & midbass.

In a sense yes it is just a calculate system but at the same measure it is comfort worth the money even if your not a beginner. It is also a great little backup system or a pretty decent system to use for house parties where you don't want to take your really good gear. I experience I rather take the Matrix over taking my EV stuff to a house party or some event where people are really close to my accommodate

I thought it was a 3-way system at 1st too until you mentioned that. Now that you mention it though it makes a lot of sense

Nope. A quasi 3 way speaker is actually a dual driver 2 way speaker but the quasi 3 way comes into compete when they use a higher high pass filter on the upper driver compared to the lower driver. Both drivers undergo the same low pass filter but different high pass filters. This makes the displace driver act as though it was a sub while comfort covering the mid frequencies while the upper driver is more focus towards the mid bass frequencies but both drivers partially overlap the same frequency spread. Here is a quasi 3 way A true 3 way system doesn't have any of its drivers reproducing the same frequencies so there is a dedicated bass driver a dedicated mid driver & a dedicated high frequency driver. Here is a true 3 way
so really the ture 3 way system would sound exceed than a quassi 3 way system.. cleaner anyway.. or will it.. hmmm....
